Tell us who you need
Answer what you can, skip what you have not decided yet, and our team will come back with marketer options that fit your channel, your timeline, and your budget.
Your brief is with our team. A person is reading it now, not a routing rule.
We read your brief and work out which roles actually fit the outcome you described.
We search our network for marketers who match the channel, the level, and the budget.
You get marketer options with real experience and rates, and you choose who to speak to.
If anything is urgent in the meantime, email contact@cutbound.com.
Budget-first matching
Not every campaign needs a $95/hour strategist.
And not every campaign should be run by a $5/hour assistant.
The right marketer depends on your goal, channel, timeline, and budget — not on a price band somebody else decided for you.
Tell us what you are comfortable spending and we will help you find the strongest fit available within that range.
Part-time execution against a playbook you or we define. Good for keeping something ticking over.
One channel, run properly, with a regular reporting rhythm you can hold someone to.
A channel owner with enough hours to test, iterate, and actually move the number.
Multi-channel ownership, or one channel at serious volume with the analysis to match.
Near full-time senior capacity, or a specialist on a high-stakes, technical channel.
Demand-gen leadership on retainer, usually alongside the team executing underneath it.
Executing a defined playbook: list building, inbox monitoring, follow-up, and campaign admin.
Owns one channel day to day and keeps it running without you writing the brief every week.
Sets up the channel, writes the copy, reads the numbers, and changes course on the evidence.
Owns a full funnel, briefs others, and can tell you which half of the spend is working.
Deep in one discipline, or leading several channels toward a single pipeline number.
Demand-gen leadership: positioning, channel mix, forecasting, and the case for the budget.
Actual rates vary by channel, seniority, engagement length, and availability. These are the ranges we work across, not a price list. Retainers cover the marketer's time only — ad spend and tooling sit on top.

What you can hire
Most of these roles have their own page with the detail behind them — if you already know which one you need, start there. The ones marked Brief do not have a page yet, but they are hired exactly the same way and appear in the first step of the form.
Builds and runs the top of your funnel: sourcing, qualifying, and handing your sales team people worth calling.
Account research, list building, and multi-touch outbound aimed at longer B2B cycles and committee buying.
Profile positioning, connection strategy, and conversation-led outreach that does not read like a template.
Domain and inbox infrastructure, deliverability, sequence copy, and the testing loop behind reply rates.
List growth, segmentation, campaign calendars, and lifecycle flows for the audience you already own.
CRM and platform plumbing: triggers, scoring, handoffs, and the reporting that makes any of it legible.
Search, social, and retargeting: account structure, creative testing, and spend that maps to pipeline.
Works your inbox and pipeline to turn interest into calendar time, and keeps the follow-up from going cold.
Technical fixes, on-page work, and the content plan behind rankings that hold rather than spike.
Owns the calendar, the creative, and the community. Organic presence, or paid social alongside it.
Briefs, writes, and edits to a plan: the articles, landing copy, and assets the other channels run on.
Need something not listed — brand, video, influencer, CRO? Choose "Other" in the first step and describe it. We search for those the same way.
Why Cutbound
We are not a marketplace you have to search. We are the team that does the searching for you, inside the constraints you actually have.
Tell us what you can spend. We will work within your range instead of pushing you toward a retainer tier that was decided before you arrived.
A cold email specialist and a lifecycle marketer are not interchangeable. We match on the channel that owns your outcome, not on the job title you happened to type.
Marketers across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, so you can match working hours or the market you are selling into.
You do not search, filter, or message twenty people. You send one brief and get back options a person has already looked at.
Buy a monthly retainer if you want ongoing ownership, or hours if you want a defined piece of work. We quote whichever you prefer.
We shortlist. You decide who to speak to and who to hire. Nobody is assigned to you.
How it works
No platform to learn, no credits to buy, no inbox full of unqualified proposals.
Eight short questions. What you are trying to grow, which channel, what level, and what you are comfortable spending.
A person reads the brief and searches our network for marketers who match the channel, the level, and the budget.
Real profiles with real experience and rates. Not a pile of applications for you to sort through.
Speak to whoever you want, hire whoever fits. You decide, and you keep deciding as the engagement runs.
We do not promise instant matching or a guaranteed candidate. What we promise is that a person reads your brief and comes back with honest options, including telling you when your budget and your requirement do not line up.
Who this is for
You need pipeline before you need a marketing department. One good channel operator, run properly, beats five half-covered ones.
You have been doing the marketing yourself and it does not scale. Hand off the channel that eats the most of your week.
You need specialist capacity for a client account without carrying the headcount between retainers.
You want a marketer who is accountable for a number, not an agency invoice you cannot interrogate.
You have a team but a gap: paid, lifecycle, ops. Fill the gap without a three-month search.
The practical guide
What to decide before you hire, and what actually moves the price.
Start My Brief →Most briefs that come to us open with a role: "we need a PPC person." That is a reasonable place to start, but it is rarely the useful one. The better opening is the number you are trying to move — more demos booked, a lower cost per qualified lead, a list that converts instead of just growing.
The reason is simple. The same outcome can belong to several roles. "More qualified leads" might mean a PPC specialist if your offer converts and you just need volume, a cold email specialist if you have a clear target list and no inbound, a B2B lead generation specialist if the buying cycle is long enough to need several touches, or an SEO specialist if what you actually need is demand that keeps arriving after you stop paying for it. Tell us the outcome and we will tell you which role owns it.
Marketing rates through Cutbound range from around $5/hr to well past $95/hr, and monthly retainers from roughly $350 to $5,000 and above. Four things explain most of that spread:
Worth deciding early, because it changes who you hire. Paid channels — search, social, outbound — give you volume you control and results you can read within weeks, and they stop the moment the budget does. Organic channels — SEO, content, owned social — take longer to show anything and keep working after you stop spending.
Most companies need both eventually, and hiring for both at once is usually a mistake at small budgets. If you need pipeline this quarter, start with paid or outbound. If you are building something you expect to still be selling in three years, start the SEO and content work now, because the lag is the whole problem with it. Say which of those two you are in when you send the brief and we will weight the recommendation accordingly.
A monthly retainer buys ongoing ownership: someone whose job it is to keep a channel running, notice when it stops working, and tell you why. It suits anything continuous — paid media, lifecycle email, outbound.
Hourly suits defined pieces of work: an account audit, a migration, a campaign build, a one-off funnel fix. If you are not sure which you want, say so in the brief. We will quote whichever fits the work better, and we will tell you if you have asked for the wrong one.
Worth stating plainly, because it causes more confusion than anything else on this page. The rates and retainers quoted here cover the marketer's time. Ad spend, tooling, data, and sending infrastructure sit on top and go directly to the platforms, not to us or to the marketer.
When you tell us your budget, tell us which one you mean. A $2,000 monthly budget that has to cover both the person and the ad spend leads to a completely different recommendation than $2,000 for the person alone.
You do not need a formal marketing plan, a channel strategy, or a documented ICP to hire through Cutbound. Describe what you sell, who buys it, what you have already tried, and what you want to be true in three months. Our team turns that into a requirement.
If part of what you need is someone to write the plan itself, that is a real brief too — it points at a more senior hire, and we will say so rather than quietly sending you a junior.
The most useful line in any brief is the one about what you already tried and why you stopped. It tells us which channels are genuinely exhausted, which were abandoned too early, and which failed for a reason that has nothing to do with the channel — usually the offer or the targeting.
It also stops us recommending the thing you have already burned money on. If you want a second opinion on whether something was abandoned too early, put that in the brief as well.
